Group Management
Cloud Z CP console provides group management capabilities that allow you to grant the same permissions to multiple users.
Group Lookup​
You can view the system user groups registered in the Modernization Platform and search for groups by name and roles using the Filter function at the top of the screen.
- Group Name: The group name is displayed. Click to go to the group details page.
- Users: Displays the number of users in the group.
- Roles: Displays the roles assigned to the group.
- Actions: Displays buttons to perform edit actions on the group.
Create New Group​
System Administrators can add new groups through the Group Management feature. Click the New Group button on the View Group List screen.
On the Create New Group screen, enter the information for each item:
- Enter the name and select role
- Name: Enter a name for the group. Group names can only contain letters, numbers, and "-".
- Roles: Select the roles you want to assign to the group.
- Creator: Automatically assigned to the currently logged-in user.
- Click the Create button to finalize the group creation.
Manage Group Information​
System Administrators can change registered group information. On the View Groups screen, click on the group name or the pencil-shaped button to go to the group details screen.
On the group details page, you can change the group name and the roles set for the group:
Edit the Group Name and Role information and click the Save button in the bottom right corner to save your changes.
Remove a User from a Group​
Navigate to the Users tab, you can see which users are part of the group. You can remove a user from a group with the Delete button on the right.
Delete a group​
To delete a group, go to the View Groups page. In the Actions column on the right, click the Delete button.
A pop-up window will appear to confirm the deletion of the user. Check the name of the group you want to delete and click the OK button to delete the group:
If the group was deleted successfully, a green Removed toast pane appears in the bottom center of the screen:
Deleting a group does not remove its users from the project or system, but it will remove any permissions they had through that group.
