Create GPU Pool

A GPU Pool is a logical grouping of GPU resources that can be efficiently managed and allocated to projects or teams. Organizing GPUs into pools enables optimal utilization, simplified management, and scalability as requirements evolve.

You must have the System Administrator role to access the System Admin Control Panel and perform these operations.

  1. From the System Admin Control Panel, click GPU in the main navigation. Then, in the left-side navigation, select GPU Pools:

  1. On the GPU Pools Management screen, click the + Create GPU Pool button at the top-right corner of the screen.

  1. Fill in the Create Pool form:

  • Basic information:
    • Pool Name (required): Enter a unique, descriptive name for your GPU pool.
    • Description (optional): Briefly describe the purpose of this pool. Helps team members understand its intended use.
  • Project Assignment (optional): Choose whether to connect the GPU Pool directly to a specific project:
    • Assign to project:
      • Toggle ON if you want to immediately assign the pool to a specific project.
      • Toggle OFF to leave the pool unassigned for now; it can be assigned later.
  • GPU Resource Selection:
    • Cluster: Choose the cluster where you want the GPU pool to be created. Only available clusters are listed.
    • Select GPU Resources:
      • For each GPU type, specify the number of units to include in the pool.
      • The UI displays available quantities for each GPU type.
      • Use the selector next to each resource to allocate the required amount.
  1. On the right panel, review your configuration:
  • Pool Configuration: Shows a summary of selected GPU instances, types, and quantities.
  • Cluster Overview: Displays the selected cluster and total available GPU instances.
  1. After confirming all details, click Save to create the GPU pool. In case you want to discard the changes, click Cancel.
